There are a lot of articles on how to improve your network marketing strategies already. What people need now is more tips on things they should avoid. This is an article that will help you focus on the things you should not do in terms of network marketing ideas.

To start off, if you are still using flyers, better stop it now. Flyers are a thing of the past. Do not be a part of network marketing statistics that failed due to wrong representation of one’s self. Flyers are not that effective, it usually just ends up inside the trash bin. Also, it screams out “cheap” and “amateur”. You do not want to be related to those terms if you want to be successful in your networking.

One of the popular network marketing tips is the three foot rule. This entails pouncing on the people within three foot distance of you. Instead of people wanting to hear you out and get close to you, people would start running away from you and having as much distance as possible. This does not look professional at all.

Signs on lamp posts should be forgotten as well. How can people believe that you already earned thousands of dollars already in your networking when you are using cheap tools to catch their attention? These signs can be considered as road spams. They are tacky and they are just a big sore in the eyes. They tell people that if they join your business, they have to put up signs in lamp posts as well. Now who in their right mind would want that?

The next time you do a marketing strategy, think twice about it. Is it tasteful? Does it draw attention the right way? Is it professional looking? If the answer to these questions is a big YES then go ahead. If not, better think of a more creative way to market your business.
