He bought out an interesting couple of ideas that I like to share with you today. In fact I have been sharing them to my team here in Manila, Philippines.

Most of us go about doing our network marketing business the wrong way and give people the wrong impression as to what we do.

Network Marketing is a form of marketing services and products to people either locally here in the Philippines or overseas using face to face marketing or through the internet to reach out to as many people as possible. We then get paid on the movement of products or services from the parent company to the consumer on the volume of products sold.

In other words we are in a product movement business not a recruitment business.

Secondly most often we are looking at the wrong type of people to help us market the products we have. Normally people who join a network marketing company look for people who have high sales skills and very good at closing deals. These people either recruit others or are recruited themselves and their primary job is in getting sales for the company to earn their wages or commissions.

They really don’t have any deep interest in helping their fellow distributors to be trained as there are no real incentives regarding the performances of these fellow members. So why should they do anything extra. They just are into recruiting and selling.

Interestingly this group of people, the sales people are just around 5% of the population. So what about the other 95% of the people who are not into sales yet need our products. Now these people also want what we do, that is some extra income to pay off their existing bills and will learn what it takes to earn these extra pesos.

Network marketing is about sponsoring people rather than recruiting people and going out with those people to work for them to help them grow their own teams. We endeavor to help train their members and eventually we will have a highly skilled and trained team of inter-dependent and intra-dependent people who turn out far more than ordinary sales people in product movement.
