Filed under Case Studies, The Philippines
- Having more time for family, or
- saving for a holiday, or
- Paying some bill off or Saving for retirement.
Whatever the reasons you may have, I may have a solution but first I want to share with you why you are finding it so hard to get ahead in life today.
Here are two examples….
Case Study-1: Imagine you are in the work force for just 4 years!
You are earning 15,000 Php right now. After SSS and other deductions you will be left with probably 13,000 P.
Right!
So where does this money go…
- Rent      p3000 for boarding house
- Food      P 4000
- Transport   p3000 for jeepmei
- Internet/ Load   p1000
- Water/Electricity   p1000
This totals to p 12,000p LEAVING you with just p1000 for
Toileteries, clothes, medicine, movies, presents, etc!
Is this enough!!!!! Do you get the picture why so many people go overseas now to work.
Case Study-2: ( Senior Manager Income)
Now Imagine
You are a middle manager earning p45,000 a month.
My question is are you saving p10,000 to 15,000 php a month in savings.
If you are, GOOD!
But here is the problem.
Lets see what your savings will be in TIME…
- If you are 30 years old right now and saving p10,000
- In 12 months it will grow to (by p10,000 by 12) p120,000 and
- You are now 31 years old.
After 10 Years you will be 41 Years old and your savings will be
- now p 120,000 times 10 = P 1.2 Million
Can you buy a house with this? No No!
In another 10 years you will be 51 years old and
- your savings will be now p 2.4 Million Pesos.
So even at 51 years old you cannot pay for your condo.
Is there a solution to this problem?
YES! There is. Our company is looking for people to help market our products in the Philippines and overseas using online and offline methods. We will teach you how.
But first,
You will need to swallow your pride and learn 21 st Century ways to earn faster.
Are you teachable!!!

Work at home opportunity that takes me to Bicol, Philippines

My trip to Bicol on May 6th 2011 I deduced to go to Bicol which is one of the provinces in the Philippines as Bernadette Bermas one of my rising stars in my network marketing business team comes from Naga City in Bicol.
She has also a few up coming stars in Naga whom we need to support and these small selection of photos is my memory of another great part of the Philippines I have been exposed to all because of network marketing.
Now here is some history and facts of Naga City and the region around it in Bicol.
Bicol is classified as Region 5 in the Philippines and has a number of provinces such as Albay, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, , Masbate and Sarsagon. Naga City is part of Camarines Sur. Bicol is situated in the southern most part of Luzon.
It is rich in natural resources and the peaceful happy Bicolanos people are involved in fishing, farming, mining, forestry and manufacturing activities.
The basic products to be found here are palay, cassava, corn, abaca, and coconut.
The region has pronounced dry and wet seasons and right now we are going into the wet. It’s raining as I write.

Earn Extra Income In Philippines
January 26, 2011 by admin

In the Philippines most people work 5 to 6 days and put in an average of 9 hours of work each day. Phillipinos get paid either fortnightly or monthly and the average income is around 12,000 to 15,000 php monthly. Some people in the philippine islands earn less than 8K and live on the poverty line.
So how do people get ahead in their lives if they have little or nothing in their pay packet? Most people just live from pay cheque to paycheck and just survive.
So what should happen if a natural disaster stick such as the huge typhoons that hit Luzon or an of the 7000 islands in the Philipines each year? Most people just don’t have reserves to bounce back if this should happen. As I write these notes in Brisbane, Queensland in Australia, we witnessed huge floods caused by torrential rains in nov, dec and finally on Jan 11 the Brisbane River overflowed causing havoc al along the flood plains in Queensland.
Most of these people who lost items last week we like these Filipinos in 2009 in Manila. We saw massive destruction that spared no one- poor or rich were not exempted.
Having a back up plan is important. One suggestion is to have an income stream that could help you get back on your feet if you are struck by unforeseen circumstances such as floods or illness.
Have to thought of getting a home based business that could give you this peace of mind. Now in case you are not sure why here are some very good reasons why you should consider:
It offers a back up plan to help in case your primary income is affected
It offers a low risk opportunity whereby you may add too or increase or replace your present income
All this is done part time, a few hours daily, compounding weekly to give you extra weekly income,
You can work either from home, or online or from your local coffee shop,
Most home based opportunities do not require you to carry or delivery stock,

Network Marketing Tips- Failing Forward in 2011
December 31, 2010 by admin
Filed under Business Building Tips, Network Marketng
With 2010 racing to the finish line and New Year’s day looming in front of me just hours away I wanted to pen down down what was important to me in the year gone by and the key points that made the year tick.
The year started off with a rush when Vicki and I decided that we take the risk in both time and money and that I work in the Philippines expanding our ever growing Usana business overseas. It was a hard call as we both knew that commiting to work in Manila would mean that I would have to be away from home 6 to 8 weeks at a time with short breaks inbetween and the routine would go on for a minimum of 24 months and take us right through to the end of 2011.
Knowing what we know from our days in Malaysia, building our business there in Usana, I pulled out in 11 months as the family strings called me home when my then 14 year old teenage son said “dad you got to come home, I am growing up fast”.
The adverse effect was that I left weak, fledgling teams back in KL and Penang, Malaysia and though they managed to survive, it would have been best if I stayed on and supported them for another 12 months or so.
So its now the end of 2010, I have 12 months behind me and how have I faired so far. We did our balance sheet the other day and Vicki said that we have doubled our income since Jan 2010 to date. Though a part of it has gone to support me being away from home in the Philippines, it sure has been profitable.
And it was all done working part time with my home based business. Soon by end of 2011 or mid 2012, I may not need to do what I am doing now and the effort will pay me for years to come. Pretty good for just parttime work in Luzon, Philiipines.
So what can I take to 2011 from this experience.
- Be passionate with whatever you undertake
- Be sincere and commited to the project and have the utmost faith it will work out
- Monitor your progress month by month and learn by “Failing Forward” each time you come to hurdles. Life is meant to have problems, Just learn more skills to overcome the new problems that pop up from time to time.
- Sharpen your networking skills and make new friends and tap into their networks. In essence foster relationships.
- Learn to “TIDE” generously. Remember tiding is a way of giving back what is not yours. The 10% you give is actually what someone long ago invested in you and the only way it can multiple is to give it back which helps increase it ten fold.
- Have a Plentiful Mindset and discard your Scarcity outlook on life. Look at your cup half full insteady of it being half empty.
- Share Network Marketing with people as it’s one of the most risk free options to help people today to get out of the “Rat Race” and become debt free.
Looking forward to a great 2011. See you there!
Happy New Year to all.
