Home based business and how does it work in Philippines.

Home based business may be enticing to a few people here in the Philippines, though when I ask them if they would look at a network marketing company they quite often say that they are not interested.

Upon probing I then find out they have either had a negative third part experience through a friend’s story or they are plain scared to try.

Most often when I dig deeper I find that these people fall into two categories

Winner or losers.

Losers are are people who just don’t want to try. They are opinionated and too entrenched in their comfort zone. Most often they are quick to give opinions.

I am looking for winners when I speaker to prospects here in Manila. Yes winners are also losers but they are winners because they are not afraid to lose. Failure as we all know is a measure on our success and is the stepping stone to success in anything especially in business.

Networking is easy, as we do referral marketing from our childhood days suggesting games, toys and movies to our playmates. As we grow up we start to make referrals to our favorite hairdresser, child care centers and restaurants.

So we do network marketing but do we get paid for the valuable referrals we make to these business everyday. The answer is no.

Would you like to get paid for such referrals every week in US Dollars?

Iif you are open to find a way out of the rat race and will consider looking at a networking business opportunity here in Manila, Philippines , please be free to contact me.

Home Based Business Tips On Earning Extra In The Philippines

There are signs around to take notice off!

Check everything out.

I am sitting in the Seattle’s Best Coffee, a cafe in Greenbelt 2, Makati City, Philippines. This is day 8 and the start of week 2 in the Philippines here after I arrived from Brisbane last Sunday.

This year I am even more focused on my mission here in Manila looking for the keen business developer who wants to partner me in my growth in my global home based business here in the Philipines.

Unlike last year I am not interested in taking time out in helping people if they are not ready for change. How do I create change in people if they don’t want to initiate it. Yes, it does take extra effort and a bit of time but “Nothing Changes If Nothing Changes!”

In the last 7 years in network marketing, I have realized that for my business to grow I had to implement change from the top and that starts with me. Here are some of the changes I have started to place into my life:…

  • I am Placing myself where positive people mingle…
  • I have started to ask people more powerful than me for help. This maybe for ideas, mentorship or direction in what I do. I am also asking them to endorse me to family and friends. …
  • This year I am looking for just 2 or 3 focused people who want change badly.

This short list has helped me to stay focus and not to look at all the noise and fuss that happens when you are sharing a networking marketing business with people. I am looking for people who want more out of life and want it now.

They should not have excuses and use time, money or family as a reason why they should wait. These people must be willing to come in at the business level, be willing to be mentored and be taught what makes the business work if they are to join my team in business.

They should not question the system but rather find out how they can use the business model in building a successful home based business in the Philippines and globally. Having an acceptance that business does have an initial investment, running cost both monthly and yearly and some consistent work is a must for success.

If you have what it takes to become successful, not afraid of change and can learn from failures to grow more powerful then let’s hear from you.

One of the most important qualities I am looking for is the ability to learn and help others to learn. Passing on knowledge is foremost in networking business and I am willing to help you learn all of this. You will have to give me your time and energy for the first month and do everything I ask you to do if you want to join my team.

The Four Pillars of a Good Home Based Business Model

December 24, 2010 by

There are 4 legs to the stool in network marketing’s success. If you are either struggling with your present company or considering a home based business be it in MLM or any other home business you must keep these four points in mind as corner stones for your success.

Free tips on selecting a good home based business Click Here!

What people are not aware of!

Most people do not know what to look for or what to look into and always I see marketers selling these poor souls the so called Holy Grail to become a millionaire. Don’t buy these books but learn from successful business people around you. The best place to start is to ask successful businessmen men and women around you how they became successful. Ask your direct sales leaders to share ideas with you too. You will get all these tips for free and much more. Remember that the business of direct sales is similar to that of conventional business.

Both direct selling ( Network marketing) and conventional business have customers who have needs which need to be satisfied. The better you get at satisfying the demand the more profit you will make. Just look at the Starbucks success story. Its that simple.

Learn your market, and then market to that customer what they want. Not what you want them to know.

How does Conventional Business differ from MLM?

Now the only difference is that network marketers do not have to invest 100′s of thousands of dollars to start business as seen in conventional businesses in Starbucks, Coffee Bean or MacDonalds. For a fraction of the cost in setting up, you could be able to be in business with professional support, world class products with all the logiatics looked after by teh parent company. All you are is the marketing arm for the company. The better you get at marketing the more you will be paid.

Why do people find network marketing hard?

Do you get the picture now why people fail in network marketing or Multilevel marketing. It’s because they were told that they don’t have to sell products, or that they just had to introduce the business to probably 2 or 4 people. The business will take off by itself. This may not be the case for most people. You must learn to establish a good consumer base. Don’t fall for the hype of “No-Selling”. Your residual income will come when you have many people buying your products every month without fail.

Remember that most people want to know what they have to market. They want first hand product experience and when you give them this experience, then its so much easier for them to be enticed into helping you share these products with people they know.

There is no such thing as a fast buck whether it be in conventional business or in direct sales. A certain amount of hard work coupled with preparedness is important. Preparedness is in gaining knowledge and being ready and alert when an opportunity presents itself to you. I also believe you create your own good luck by being prepared.

The Four Pillars To Your Success In Network Marketing!

Finally the four key areas that are important for your ongoing success are:

  1. Your Belief In YourSelf: You must know that you want success and its within your reach. If you doubt this very first element of success, then you are setting youself up for failure. If you have little or no faith in your abilities then I suggest you either change your mind about business and stick with a job that pays you what your boss feels your are worth or you go out and attend seminars in self improvement, read book on personal development and mingle and make friends with people who are ambitious and have high self-esteems.
  2. Your Belief In The Industry: If you do not have a strong belief in the direct selling industry and networking in particular then you have another issue. Either educate yourself why this industry is very powerful or go back and earn a living at your day job. For your information people are making very decent livings in direct sales and there have been more millioniares created in direct sales than in any industry combined as to date. So either you change your mindset or you will fail miserably and will find yourself joining many people who today curse MLm just because they thought they would be millioniares within a month. The industry works but you need to know what makes it work. Find yourself a good mentor within the multi level marketing who is either very successful or is a rising star with his company and learn the ropes from him.
  3. Your Belief In The Company: The 3rd crucial element is having a strong belief that the company you have selected to associate yourself with and create your financial future. This is easy if you had done your due diligence before you signed the paperwork. If for any reason you still not sure if your company is good enough then go back to the drawing board and do your due diligence into the management, financials and the products of the company and see if you can see yourself representing the company.
  4. Your Belief In The Products You Sell: Find products that you are comfortable in selling. Be it skincare, healthcare or vitamins. If you are joining a company with the notion that you will not be selling anything then you are in for a big surprise. Every good business has to have a product or service which it markets. Starbucks markets good coffee and the experience associated with drinking coffee. You must find yours. If your company has skincare which helps to decrease fine lines and wrinkles then you should market anti-aging. Believe in your products and people will believe in you.

You will find articles addressed to help people like you to be able to take advantage of the booming health and wellness industry.

Beware of marketers who selling you programs or ebooks on what is the secret in networking.

A Claude Moment!

I firmly believe that you must acquire customers, learn to keep them and then ask them if any of them would be keen to do what you are doing. Thats the business. Though its simple, it may not be easy. Business has never meant to be easy but its “doable”. The rewards in having your own home based business far beats that of working for a boss.

I have done it and am still doing it so you can too.

Earn Extra Income With Strong Relationships

December 20, 2010 by

With a background in traditional business I tend to lean on any of the similariies found in conventional business.

One of those similarities is building networks or relationships.

I find that people who join a network marketing company are so eager to jump off the fence and begin earning income that they tend to find building a solid business a difficult thing to do.

And why is that so!

Here is an interesting case study that might help you if you have a home based business and find it hard to earn income.

Let me share this with you…

Recently I visited a business lady in Manila, Philippines, who has now become a close friend of mine. In the office of Mrs Tundag business, in Pasig last week I learn’t a few lessons in relationship building.

Sophia Tundag from Queen-S International Trading Company is a highly respected business lady in the iron and steel circles. In fact she is the only lady who sits in on the panel of that board in Manila.

And why do men who are 20 years her senior respect her.

Let me tell you a short story which may highlight how she gains respect.

Mrs Tundag had lost a contract from a large iron and steel scrap metal firm in Baltimore, USA. In spite of losing the contract which happened due to business conflict, she still managed to maintain a friendly relationalship with the firm’s managers.

In December 2010, the firm sent one of their managers to Manila to source out an agent to represent them in the Philippine region.

The uS Embassy had narrowed down 2 potential business firms to be interviewed for the agent’s position later that week.

Due to open communication between the two parties, Sophia and the US manager met as the manager dealing with teh case still enjoyed a good friendship with Sophia inspite of not being business partners.

The US company had actually 10 years ago helped to put the Philippine company run by Sophia on the trading map. This was something that Sophia was deeply indebted for and wanted to pay back the favour one day. She felt that the timing was right to give back now.

She volenteered to take this US manager around Manila to show him the steel business so that when he met up with potential agents he would be better informed.

She knew that she was given him valued information even though he was instructed by his firm not to give her any business. She was doing it for one reason: Giving back!

She certainly has a Plentiful Mindset!

After two days of intensive driving around the busy streets of Manila, She said good bye to the US manager from the steel company. It was a long tiring two days and she was giving away her time for nothing.

Sophia sat back in her chair that evening and and looked at me and said..”Claude I felt really happy to have done that. I just wanted to repay that favour”.

I smiled and said to Mrs Tundag that I have grown to admire her for her integrity and generosity.

I then asked her.. “so what happened to the selection of the agents for the steel company”. Did she know who had won the contract and who was going to be competing with her in the business now”.

Sophia informed me that when the manager saw the level of respect she had from the business community in the Philippines, he with drew his other nominations the day before his Embassy meeting, and made his company bosses to nominate Queen-S Trading as their business partner in the region.

What a Win-Win moment for both sides.

A Claude moment…

Whenever you do business, take it a upon yourself to build relationships first before you go after business.

The person whom you are building the friendship with will look pass you and see the integrity you have and will learn to trust you in the near future.

I hope you can use this little story to build you a good home based business in your own company.
