How to find a good network marketing company

Generally people new to networking business will tend to sway towards the attraction of huge payouts in compensation plans. Though this is not the case with professional networkers who are most often successful in running huge organisations in their companies. Veterans in MLM place alot on product quality before they look into the business side of the company.

So why is this so!

It is common sense to know that a good business model must be backed by high quality products to withstand the onslaught of time. Business is not kind and will kill any new venture if the products being sold are not what they are made out to be.

Remember good business is good sales of products. With this comes good commisions as multi level companies pay distributors on sales of products. Good products means repeat sales, which in turn means steady residual income.

In some case if the products are not of good quality the networker will need to sell products all the time as repeat sales will not take place on poor quality. This will be important if the MLMer wants to have a steady income.It’s like a boat taking in water. If you don’t bail out water the boat will sink.

So if you keep losing customers you need to keep on selling or else you will starve.

Is this a good thing?

Well though this may seem discouraging if you are looking at a home based business opportunity right now, it’s not that bad. All you need to do is do some home work. Find a company that has good products and is matched with a business plan for its distributors.

If you find such a business model then you are setting yourself up for success in network marketing.

Why understanding Network Marketing is important?

As a  networker, your success will depend upon two vital elements- personal skills and the compensation plan of the company you attach yourself too. Now don’t get confused by rank advancement as that depends a lot of what you do just now.

PS: These factors are widely seen in countries where the income level is relatively lower and huge compensation plan blowouts attract innocent people with huge testimonial of one or two top income level networkers in a company. You will find this common in the Philippines or evven in Malaysia where I have heard such testimonials being spun by networkers.

PSS: Let us not forget that product quality must be of utmost importance too when looking at a business model.

What we really mean if, by working your compensation plan to maximise your organisation acccording to your business objectives. Do not look at your compensation plan as just a method of payment but rather as a tool designed to reward you for skills and behavior you show in your business. I shall explain this in depth in a future post.

By studying your compensation plan your rewards will be enhanced.

Quite a few people look at a MLM company’s business or compensation plan as the beginning and end of their due diligence process. Most amateur network markers chase the fast start  bonuses as they get drawn to the unrealistic high commision rates and incredible wealth testimonials spun by distributors of multilevel companies.

As we all know, huge incredible commision payouts come with incredible hurdles to jump over by distributors. Most companies spin huge success stories of one or 2 of its top multi-million-dollar distributors in the company. Your chance to be one of these top multi level achievers is slim as the hurdles are too high for the average person in the company to jump over. One of the reasons is that most networkers work their business part time and cannot cross these huge volume requirements set to achieve the big bonuses.

People all around talk about hardships and trials that come their way daily. They most often complain about their employers and always want more from their employment rather than say let’s give more to our company and keep our company afloat in difficult financial times. 

How about we learn to give before we demand! 

I was impressed with a story that my brother-in-law a few months ago narrated. He mentioned something over dinner to a bunch of us guys one night in Brisbane on one of my trips back home this year from Manila in the Philippines. He is a very generous, gracious and unassuming guy and we all love him for his gentle nature. He is over 6 feet tall and is a gentle giant.

 Now Frank ( I am sure he won’t mind me mentioning his name here) belongs to a huge mining company in Queensland, Australia and was speaking of special bonuses the mine has for its employees. One such bonus for existing employees at that time was to reward an existing employee if they were to recommend a future employee to the mining company.

 What a way to attract staff to a company. Word of mouth advertising is the best recomendation for any company. We all do networking of sorts everyday and this moning company was using existing staff to market their company through word of mouth marketing, Networking!

 The bonus was good, around $2000 if I remember right which is probably the wage of the new employee for a week. In other words its a close Matching Bonus to what an employee would get for a week.

 How good was that!

 Imagine getting a one OFF “Matching Bonus” for every employee you brought into the mining company. That would pay for any existing bills or even a good holiday if you knew of an electrician the mine needed.

 You could set up your own little recruiting agency on the side just to supply workers to the mine, LOL!

 Better still what if you came across a deal or a permanent promotion from your company that rewarded you to recommend your company to others. What if this company gave you a BONUS every time the future employee earned and better still what if you got it for 26 weeks of the life of that new employee in your company.

 Would that be exciting!

And here is another more exciting thing. If your company could give you a 100% Match of the future employee’s earnings would you get even more excited.

 I would!

 So why do companies do this?

 Global companies want to attract the best people into the work force whether it be miners or sales people. Quite often and most often these people are hidden away from the public eye and maybe be known to someone in the existing company.

 It’s far cheaper for the company to pay an existing staff member to find a trusted hard working worker than to find an ad with a marketing agency to do the recruiting.

 Now the new employee has friends in the company who will train and support him. This is priceless to the employer as the best training is from trained staff. It does not cost more for the company in way of training and the training is the best. there is a vested interest for a trained staff to mentor the new comer.

 That’s why they reward you. For all your hard efforts in helping the employer to grow and increase business.

 Now there are many home based business offers in Australia, US, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines that come close to what I mentioned above but you need to look for them.
