Many college students have hard time getting the extra money that they need to pay for books and personal expenses. There parents may not be able to send them money, so they have to locate a part-time job while attending school.
I have been working in Manila since Feb 2011 and have noticed that our office in Makati has more distributors in their late teens and early twenties. These young people want more gadgets and the good things in life faster than older people.
The other reason is that network marketing companies can offer these students an opportunity to earn extra income in the Philippines on a weekly basis and in US Dollars.
