Training starts to get the new distributor on track to doing the right thing to start business properly. In addition to learning the systems that will make him know the business I generally get the potential leader to model on my performance or others in the group and then I mentor and monitor their progress. Motivation is used at various stages to help them cross little hurdles to higher levels of success.
One of the main things I strive for is to empower the new potential leader to be able to pass on what he has learnt and create a successor and duplication.
Without a trained successor you don’t really have success.
Here are some guidelines what I do to help my team succeed.
Getting him to set his goals,
Getting him to avail of the special bonus within 2 weeks of joining,
Making sure he understand each and everything in the business manual,
Making sure he attends every training at the office at least 4 times a week if he wants me to work with him.
Then I use a simple buy powerful method to empower my new potential business leader:
I show you watch,
I show the material and ask him t help me,
Then he shows the material and I help him and,
Finally he shows the business and I just watch.
I give feed back, comments and positive critical comments to help him improve and allow him to use his own creativity to make the business presentation even more powerful.
Once I have done this final step I do know that I have empowered someone who can then go on to be a success himself.
Creating a firm, strict, ethical atmosphere for business owners to work is very important. There is no short cuts or and room for back biting that new distributors can be tempted into. Working together in an atmosphere of team work is very important for success.
Acquiring and keeping good leaders is the task of any business team leader. I do hope these notes above have helped you in the quest for your own home business success.
Wishing you all the best!
