How Good Mentors Can Help You Move Forward

I have made John C Maxwell my mentor. And agree with what he writes:
Here’s some good news. As you work to climb up the levels of leadership, you’ll find that it gets easier to lead people. Each advance allows you to be more effective in leading others because your influence increases as you go to a higher level. As your influence increases, more people follow you more readily. Limited influence, limited leadership. Greater influence, greater effectiveness.
In mid 2010 I decided that I need to take myself to another level. I started to source out mentors and found I had non who lived close to me that I could approach to help me with my leadership skills.
So I started to read books and today I would totally recommend that you start reading John’s books.
My wife and I laugh especially when I travel and am away from home when she says she has gone to bed with John my best friend.
John has taken both of us to another level of thinking. We no longer look at our team in our company badly if they don’t perform. rather we help them overcome hurdles as much as they allow us to and I have been seeing huge results due to this.
If you want to grow in your own work, whether it be in network marketing or in traditional work, please seek out people like John Maxwell.

How To be a success in Network Marketing

I agree with what Stone wrote:
Be diligent in all that you do when working in this career choice. Many give up before their first year is over and do not ever see the full potential. You must be patient and dedicated to see what can truly happen with your network. Give it at least a year when you first start out.
Recently I picked up a book called “Flight Plan” by Brian Tracy. I bought it at a book sale for a tenth of the price. As I have been going through it I now feel I would pay full price for any of Brian’s books.
If you have not picked up Flight Plan yet I strongly recommend it.
Now in the book, Brian says that it does take time to be successful at anything. In fact it takes an average of 7 years to be in the Top 10% of your class.
That is the time it takes to become a brain surgeon or a good chef, mechanic or to do your PHD.
There is no short cut to success. So if you are planning to get started in network marketing start with reading and improving yourself first. And give it 7 years for you to be a multi millionaire.
You cannot expect to get extraordinary incomes with the same skill sets you have right now. The skills you presently have are meant to keep you at your present level of income in the bottom 80% of people who struggle.
So start learning if you want to be in the winning Top 10%.
