Network Marketing Success Is Not By Accident- Change Your Mind Set

I have to laugh when experts say make a 10 year business plan.  Your online business will look radically different  in 3 years than what you could ever expect.  If it’s not changing and growing, it’s dying somewhere along the way. 

Get yourself in the right place and the right attitude for these kinds of accidents to happen.

Learn.  Grow.  Multiply. 

I have been attending training here in Makati, Philipines. The common thread is that what goes in should come out.

So if you are seeing results that you don’t want to see do you know what you need to do? It’s simply that you need to change the process.

I would recommend that you start with the thought process that is causing you to get the results you don’t want to see. Start reading books that can contribute to your mind to expand and grow with positive thoughts which will make you do position actions in the direction of your goals, which in turn will yield positive results.

let me narrate an incident lately when a team member of mine complained bitterly that he was not seeing results that he was expecting. In-spite of hitting the first goal in the starting up process he was disappointed. he complained that his income checks were few and not frequent enough.

This is someone who is rarely seen at training. Does not read books and rarely stays awake at meeting if he does attend.

Can you see the issue here. Instead of fertilizing his mind to grow good crops of success he was actually poisoning his mind with thoughts of mediocrity and failure.

When I dis not see his point of view he just stop communicating with me.

It’s sad when people react this way. Because they will soon quit the business of network marketing.

You should adapt to change and learn so that you can embrace change and grow in your own home based businesses.

Don’t be like that down-line of mine who complained about people, and why everything seemed not right.

For you to start to make a difference in your network marketing business you must make a change in your mind set. As the business of network marketing is about people and we make our income from people, we need to study people more.We need to be aware what group of people we are talking to when prospecting for our business. There are a few awareness groups that are worth looking at so you know which ones will yield more to your network marketing business’s bottom line of profits.

You must be aware that prospects could be from any of the five areas of awareness. These are:

• Poverty Class; These people are in survival mode and are very poor. They live from day to day and barely survive.
• Working Class: People in the working class group are in the rat race of life, too busy working just to live.
• Middle Class: These people are above the working class and have a false sense of attainment, under illusion that they are higher than the other two as they have attained a bit more than the working class. They are high enough of of the survival pit of life to realize that things can be better but are not prepared to do anything about it. they just don’t want to take any action in changing their circumstances.
• High Class; These people are high enough to see that there are better ways to do things and will take action to move to another zone above them. But once they attain this level of comfort will stop striving for more.
• World Class: This last group of people work with an objective in mind and will knock down barriers to get what they want. They do not set goals and stop there. There are high achievers.

If you prospect someone in the last group you will have a Diamond in the making in your network marketing business.

Two Types Of Habits

These are two types of habits we fall into. One is that of doing and the other is not doing things. Its as simple as that. Procrastination is one of the worst enemies of success and has a drastic effect on the results we see when we either do or not do something.

We see results from our actions and the better the results means we have been doing things more often and doing it right. As we are creatures of habits, we need to foster good habits. The third step in getting started is to do your inventory in your business. get to know whom you will call and whom you will call first. This is called your names list. Categorize each person on your names list by giving him a score. The higher the score a person gets on the list, the quicker he or she will be called.

Here are some points to score these people on:

• Income & Job,
• stay near you,
• integrity,
• open to business,
• open minded,
• team player,
• coachable,
• do they belong to a network.
• Kidnap ( this is a term in the Philippines we use when we take someone to our office without tell them what they are in for. Make sure you know this person or else you could get in trouble. I find the kidnap approach works well as most people have a predetermined decision on network marketing and will miss out on what a great industry this is.)

The last step in the process of getting started is to do an exam with your sponsor to see how well you have grasp the subject matter. Only then should you go out and talk to people. All this must be done in your first days of signing up into your business.

More things to remember when starting your network marketing business

Now you must understand that you can never win if you never get started in your business. To sign up as I just mentioned is not getting started. You need to sign up two people at least into your home based opportunity to get started and then as their sponsor you need to help them get started too. Only then would you have got started in your business. Follow the steps above and you will find doing your business much easier.
